Positano
Positano, Capri, and the Amalfi Coast.
This is as far south as we got, and it makes us want to go back for more!
It was simply beautiful and restful. Not a lot to see, but plenty
to do if you want to loll around, eating and drinking and soaking up the
sun. This was also the place we bought some souveniers, including
ceramics and an oil painting. (Before you think we're getting in
the art scene, it was painted by a guy on the beach.) We took a day
trip to the island of Capri and saw the Blue Grotto. When we left
for Rome, we managed to squeeze in a stop at Pompei.
